Song of the Day: Green Day - Welcome to Paradise
Soooo tired today. Went for marathon walk with Raze n Lars last night. 12 km! Raze says we walked as far as Noarlunga. I think Raze needs to increase his dosage.
The walking is meant to get me fitter for the big trip (17 days!), seeing as my travelling partner thinks he's gunna run rings around me :) I'll keep trying but if last night is anything to go by, I'm rooted :)
As for organising places to stay, I think I've emailed every hotel in Rome. Somewhere has got to be one without cockroaches. I fear we may end up on a park bench. My mother says thats part of the adventure. I say there's nothing attractive about hypothermia.
I've started listening to old music again. For a while there I was a bit snapped up in the SAFM (gawd) scene.. but now I have Green Day, No Doubt, Powderfinger, Foo Fighters back on my walkman, the crisis is over. How could I have forgotten how much Foo Fighters rock? Might even post my tape playlist here if I ever get off my fat ass.
Which still hurts from the walk last night.
