Song of the Day: Stereophonics - Since I Told You Its Over
London is an interesting city to be in right now.
The whole city is heaving towards the big match on Saturday, and although I couldn't care less about the rugby.. somehow I'm being swept away. My housemate Michael is taking me to the pub on Sat morning along with his (english) work buddies to watch the match. Have suspicion that I am going to be the sacrificial Australian.
In other more exciting news, U2's "One" was voted the best song ever recorded according to a poll conducted by Q Magazine and reported in The Metro. I reckon they pretty much got that right. Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was voted number 3 also.
I was reading in the TNT on Monday that during John Howard's visit over here he watched the Australia V New Zealand rugby game from his plush suite at Claridge's. Simon Crean - the Opposition leader - on the other hand got off the plane at Heathrow, dumped his shit in his hotel room and headed for the nearest Walkabout where he proceeded to down several snakebites and a coupla beers. What an aussie! Politicians should be made to drink snakebites.. god knows nobody feels human after a night drinking those.
